Ramada Hotels
CCFV was selected to create an environment for "Mr. Bill" of Saturday Night Live fame as he traveled the USA in search of a good night's sleep — and a great place to stay.
Using a 35mm camera equipped with a snorkel lens, Center City Film and Video traversed multiple miniatures and life-size sets to follow the travels of Mr. Bill. Live actors were utilized to interact with the tiny character.
The TV campaign received national attention with articles from AD AGE and the New York Times and reminded travelers that even someone as down on his luck as "Mr. Bill" could get a great deal and good night's sleep at Ramada.
Philadelphia Coalition for Kids
Philadelphia Safe and Sound is a nonprofit organization that transforms groundbreaking research into best practice initiatives to improve the health and well-being of children and youth in the Philadelphia region. CCFV was asked to create a public service campaign that utilized radio and TV to raise awareness. The effort was so successful it enabled PSS to secure a 10 year, $10 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to help further its work.
Budget Rent-A-Car
The challenge in this commercial was to realistically translate the agency's concept of dropping a car full of circus clowns on to the set. Once on the set, our friends quickly realize that only a clown would pass up Budget's new low rates.
The crew also shot several spinning cars and SUVs on a giant turntable for the closing payoff shots.
Not only was the client happy with the end result, the commercial exceeded their projected response rate by almost double.
NutriSystem
Center City Film and Video produced this :60 direct response commercial for NutriSystem featuring celebrity Jillian Barberie. The commercial, shot in Los Angeles, pulled fantastic results for the client. Subsequently, CCFV has produced additional NutriSystem spots featuring Billie Jean King, Marie Osmond and Belinda Carlisle.
